Our Services

1. Technical Management

By appointing us to manage the technical aspects of your show or production, you can let us take over the day to day stress of your project. As your single point of contact we will liaise with your contractors, freeing up your production team to concentrate on the live show elements. From the outset we’ll engage with your designers and creatives ​outlining the technical strategy and objectives for the project.

2. Location Management

Whether you are taking your show to an outdoor location or your venue/ site requires a large amount of additional broadcast infrastructure, CSG Events can plan, coordinate and manage your locations.

This includes acquiring permissions for access; restrictions to space; collating practical information of available onsite services​; sourcing additional accommodation such as dressing rooms, dining rooms and production offices along with cleaning up once the production wraps.

3. Site Management

From setting realistic budgets, to developing an achievable event build and de-rig schedule that is adhered to by all contractors, we can manage all aspects of your event site dealing with challenges as they present themselves and problem solving.

We will also ensure that Health and Safety is paramount, developing a safe event plan and liaising with local authorities, emergency services and your security provider at all stages of the event.

4. Operational Management

We can assist you with all operational aspects of your projects. This includes: venue finding and liaison, sourcing and management of contractors, CAD drawing and site plans and Health & Safety.

We’re also fully versed in CDM Regulations 2015, from ensuring the appropriate welfare facilities are provided to carrying out site inductions we will ensure that you’re compliant at all stages.

“CSG Events has been involved in Dancing On Ice since it returned in January 2018. From the outset CSG has been integral to securing the site infrastructure that is needed to transform what was an empty airfield into the fully functioning studio with production buildings that it has become. We have a good working relationship that is based on honesty and we share the same objectives – delivering the best programme possible, sustainably and cost efficiently. Bovingdon does require a huge amount of additional kit; portacabins, marquees, water & waste, temporary power, data cables etc. This was expanded further for the 2021 show due to Covid and the need for social distancing. Dancing on Ice is also unique that its production build must be carried out in a particular way. Any work that requires access to the floor area needs to be completed before the ice rink is installed. CSG ensures that strict schedules are in place and adhered to and this happens concurrently with the site infrastructure build. We all enjoy working with CSG Events team and they’re very much part of the wider Dancing on Ice family.”
